Getting Here
To reach IPS Campus (Setúbal and Barreiro), the following public transportation options are available:
- Carris Metropolitana bus
- CP train – Lisbon urban trains – Sado Line (get off at "Praias Sado A" station)
- Fertagus train – Lisbon | Setúbal (connection to IPS must be made via CP train to "Praias Sado A" or by Carris Metropolitana bus)
Getting to Setúbal Tecnhology School - IPS
The Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) is located in a quiet area of the city, approximately 10 to 15 minutes from the city centre by car or public transport. The campus is easily accessible via Carris Metropolitana buses and the Lisbon urban train network (CP – Sado Line), with a stop at "Praias Sado A" station.
Bus: Buses stopping at Alto Estefanilha (IPS): (The Alto Estefanilha stop provides direct access to the IPS campus, with an entrance located just a few steps from the bus stop)

From the Meliã Hotel, you have several options to reach IPS:
It's about an 8-minute walk to Praça do Brasil, where you can catch a bus to Alto Estefanilha (IPS).
You can also walk approximately 4 minutes to the bus stop at R. Manuel Maria Portela Frente, 77, where you can take bus 4412, which goes directly to IPS.
Train: Alternatively, it’s a 10-minute walk to Praça do Quebedo from Meliã Hotel, where you can catch the train to Praias do Sado, the station closest to the IPS campus.

Getting to Barreiro Tecnhology School - IPS
The School of Technology of Barreiro is part of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and is located in the municipality of Barreiro, approximately 25 km from the main IPS campus in Setúbal. Although situated in a different city, ESTBarreiro is fully integrated into the IPS network and offers easy access by road and public transportation
To facilitate transport on 17 July, a bus will depart from Setúbal, specifically from the Parque do Bonfim (in front of the Meliã Hotel), at 08:20. Silviano Rafael, a member of the Local Organizing Committee, will be on board and available in case of any unforeseen situation.
